Day 42-a sunburn solution

Dos has become more active during the day-and because she has gotten so used to following Francis around, she wants to go outside with him in the middle of the afternoon.  Francis lies in the shade and is completely content, and I have to drag him inside when it gets too hot.

Dos has taken to trying to stay outside with Francis after her potty breaks, but because she doesn't have fur covering her up, she risks sunburning.

I went to the petstore, which didn't have any "doggy sunscreen" so the next best thing was a light doggy raincoat, cool enough for her to wear in the heat and covered her enough to protect her from sunburning!

I think she looks like Mary Tyler Moore.

She's adorable in her pink jacket, and, for short stints, can lounge outside in the sun with Francis.
